My students live and go to school in an high-poverty rural community. Our PK-5 school serves about 400 students and is a warm and welcoming place for our kids. I teach math and science to two groups of 30 4th graders, many of whom are ELL. They are amazing! These kids need the best opportunities to learn, and being able to stand, bounce, or wiggle while learning will improve their focus and fitness. Kids who can move and wiggle as they learn can actually focus more, and these kiddos need that!
