I teach in an inclusive classroom where general education and special education students work together. My students are fierce advocates of standing up for each other and "fair" behavior. They engage in inquiry, authentic academic experiences, project-based learning, and passionate debates about their learning. We are an urban neighborhood school with students whose needs include learning disabilities, attention difficulties, developmental delays, English language supports, and social-emotional/character development
