My classroom is made up of 10 students who have varying abilities in the maximum resource setting. My students are caring, loving, hilarious and hard workers. They come from low to middle socio-economic status. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. We have slowly begun to move toward alternative seating as well as implementing yoga into the day. When students are in a space that they are comfortable and are proud of they are more open to learning and exploring new ideas. Everyday we strive to go beyond the goals we met the day before and keep our classroom motto; "I am bright. I am brave. I am balanced. I am kind. I am me."
