By funding this project, you are giving my students access to technology that will help them maximize their success in Kindergarten. My students will learn how to appropriately apply technology to learning in the classroom, while still using hands-on, more traditional strategies. The materials in my project combine tactile pieces with technology so that students get the most out of each activity.
When using these materials, students will apply mathematics, reading, art, and science concepts to the activities they are completing. Students will be able to demonstrate mastery of the skills they have learned in class when they work independently at the level that’s most appropriate for them. This project will meet the specific needs of my students because they will be exposed to the technology they lack as well as the hands-on experiences they need to be successful.
