I teach 125 5th grade math students in a high poverty city. Many of my students are English Language Learners who require a variety of teaching styles. My students are excited to learn but also get easily frustrated so I try to keep things as active and enjoyable as possible.
Technology is lacking at my school. My current class only has one school computer which is very old and not reliable. Daily I bring in my own laptop so that I can have a dependable device to use for my math lessons.
