My students need to have a school environment that is calming and therapeutic. A dividing wall between their desks will allow them to maintain focus to tasks. Why not provide them with a wall that is functional, yet calming? These leaf strands will be attached to taupe sheets, which will then be attached to the garment racks to provide privacy walls.
In addition, typical overhead florescent lighting that is found in most classrooms, produces an awful glare. These florescent light protectors will provide a shield for the glare which has been known to cause eye stress which for some people can also cause headaches. Since my students are unable to communicate when they are not feeling well, such as when having a headache, I would like to reduce florescent light as much as possible.
