I teach 4th and 5th grade Science to an amazing group of children in Northeast North Carolina. The area I teach in has a low socioeconomic status and most families do not have the resources that children need to succeed in the 21st century. My goal is to get students to enjoy social studies and make it relevant to their lives. I hope that they see the importance of having skills to be able to be successful the rest of their time in school and many years beyond graduation!

About my class

I teach 4th and 5th grade Science to an amazing group of children in Northeast North Carolina. The area I teach in has a low socioeconomic status and most families do not have the resources that children need to succeed in the 21st century. My goal is to get students to enjoy social studies and make it relevant to their lives.
