We are striving to become life-long readers and learners. My students need adequate resources to supplement their curriculum. I, also, want to show them that nonfiction does not only mean boring textbook-type reading. We need books on industrial revolution, early colonization, and science. I tried to choose titles that correlated with their current standards.
It is so important to me to be able to put books in the hands of our students. They utilize the library for their research and for their pleasure reading needs. These updated titles will further encourage and promote good reading and research habits using books.
