I teach Mathematics to 5th grade students! I love my students! My school receives 100% free breakfast and lunch through a federal grant for all students. My students do amazing things each and every day! They continue to do these amazing things even though they face daily struggles and challenges at home. As their teacher, I try to meet each student at their level and make a positive impact in their lives. This is a constant challenge that I work towards on a daily basis! The students at my school have a wide range of academic abilities, socioeconomic levels, learning disabilities and other factors that prohibit them from excelling in school. Channeling the student's energy and available technology are two areas that need supported in the classroom! Finding tools to help the students find success in the classroom is my main goal!
