The balance discs I am requesting will be enormously useful for my kindergarten class! I have a very active group of students, many of whom are diagnosed ADHD. All of my students want to learn, but have a hard time focusing on their work or during carpet time. We have many seating choices for work time, but these balance discs will really assist students who have trouble sitting with us on the carpet!
If you donate to our project, you will really be helping students with ADHD focus in class and assist in their academic success. Students who use these balance discs will be able to channel their need to move in a non-distracting way that will allow them and other students to focus on learning. This will also cut down on behavior issues, helping to create a more positive classroom environment!
