I want my students to have a broad learning experience that applies their understanding of language and literature to multiple forms of media and enhances their literature with comparisons and tied-in media and current events. Currently, my classroom has one old CRT television set that we switch out with my desktop's monitor as the media cart computer is 12 years old. My district is struggling to rebuild after devastating floods, so a technology upgrade for me is understandably delayed indefinitely. Having come from a school with strong technology integration, I have seen and want to give my students that benefit now with a new projector.
