The students that I have the opportunity to work with the most often at Gibsonville Elementary School are those who qualify for the Academically Gifted program. These kids love to get hands on with their learning and investigate all kinds of new challenges. They thrive on seeing how what they are learning is beneficial and applicable in the "real world." Our school is in a rural, blue collar town and over half of the students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.
