There is one group of students, however, that does not have many books to choose from, and this is our ELL (English Language Learner) population. We have many students who read and speak only Spanish. They are here to learn English, but they also like to read. When they come to our school and I show them the few books we have in Spanish (such as Harry Potter, Twilight, and The Lightning Thief), their eyes light up and they are happy to have something to check out.
