When most people think of a special education classroom, they think of children that have disabilities. However, my students are a group of kids that have SO many abilities. It just takes a different or unique method to tap into those. Most (if not all) of my students also have a need for sensory input in order to be most successful in their learning and everyday living experience.
We, as a team, are so lucky to be at a school that fosters inclusion and friendships between all students. My students enjoy those moments that they get to interact and develop friendships with every student in the school.
