Hi My name is Ms. Rebecca (Flynn) and I am a 3-5 Math Facilitator at Nea Community Learning Center in Alameda, CA. I have the best job on earth! My learners are capable and bright. I am homeroom teacher to my 4th grade class and get to know the 3rd and 5th graders as well because I am their math teacher too. Our school has a rotating schedule similar to a middle school campus. This makes our community strong because I am able to get to know more learners and parents in various grade levels. I have an amazing Math team teacher and also work closely with the Humanities and Science teachers to best support our students. Our school also focuses on the social-emotional piece of learning because it's crucial to learner success. Every day I am thankful to work with amazing colleagues, learners and their families for the success of the whole child.
