By providing our students with solar sunsafe sunglasses they will be able to experience a somewhat rare solar event safely. Students will be able to go outside and see what the sun looks like during a total eclipse without exposing their eyes to the sun's damaging rays.
Getting to experience the total eclipse SAFELY will allow them to soak up the amazing views and observe what happens when the sun and the moon align so perfectly. Our students will be able to then ask questions, do research and use this experience to learn even more about the solar system and therefore our Earth.
Our students need to have their eyes protected so that they can continue to learn and grow without damaged eyes. The healthier their eyes stay the more then can learn with much greater ease.
