My name is Abby Strom, and I teach first grade. I am currently finishing up my first year of teaching, and I am having the most fun I have ever had in my life. Watching these children learn and grow has been so fulfilling. I learned about this program from a coworker and I instantly began putting my account together. I have learned so much this first year, and the biggest thing I have learned is how these children learn. Being in a low income area, the supplies and materials are hard to come by. I have used what I can this year, but, I feel, that in order for these children to reach their full potential I need certain materials to help them learn in the way that works best for them and helps the classroom run smoothly.
