HI!
Welcome to my donation page for Standup for Kids. My goal is to provide a full high school classroom with standing desks.
As numerous studies have shown, students have improved academic performance and general overall health significantly when they have standing desks. The simple physical posture of our students have not only improved but also has improve their focus and energy level.
As a teacher and coach for nearly 20 years I've struggled with students having poor focus, low energy and general physical discomfort while sitting in the standard seated desks.
I would like to furnish a complete classroom set (35) of standing desks to not only demonstrate the effectiveness of this new approach to classroom tools but also provide the students with a healthy experience in school.
Please help with these efforts.
Thank you,
Matt Transue
