My students would greatly benefit from having a quiet sensory space they can go to when they are becoming dysregulated. We currently have one empty classroom they can utilize when they become upset but no sensory materials in it to help them calm down and release stress. If we can help our students regulate themselves through the use of a sensory room space, we can get them back into class and learning!
