Our school is very economically disadvantaged and many of our students are below their grade level in reading and math. Teachers like myself are trying to find ways to encourage our students to love learning and desire to be better. Many of our kids enjoy school simply because it is a safer place where they know they will get to eat and be loved on, and we are doing our best to keep that love there, but instill the love of learning as well!
