I am a fourth and fifth grade math teacher in a high poverty area in Monroe County, Kentucky. Our school population is over 80% free and reduced lunch. Our school is also known for being a transient school. While we are high in poverty, we are also high in achievement.We are a proficient school and excel in student learning. Our teachers strive to meet the needs of all students each day.
