Flexible seating is an important modification for all learners. When student's are comfortable, they learn more. Whether they are reading, writing, conducting experiments, having deep conversations, or solving math problems, they need to be supported. Flexible seating supports their minds and bodies all day. It is an amazing thing to see what students can accomplish when they are truly comfortable in their own classroom. I have students who need to bounce, lay down, bend, and be comfy to show their true academic potential. I want my students to realize how much I care for their independent learning needs, including seats.
