I work as a homebound teacher in Adams County, Colorado. My students are amazing fighters that are too sick to go to school, but desperately want to be able to participate in typical school activities just like every other child. Music is one way I can help them feel "typical". My students range from pre-school to high school age - since disease is one thing that doesn't discriminate based on age. But no matter what their age, their background, or their illness, they all have the love of music in common.
