I am a teacher in a school district with a large population of at-risk students, who are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I continually look to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences that are enhanced with technology.
Many of my students are being raised by a single parent, or in multi family households and receive a free or reduced meals based on their socioeconomic status.
From the moment they enter my classroom, I work to develop a personal, respectful relationship, focusing on their potential and growth, and teaching them to recognize their potential and celebrate their successes.
