My role of a reading intervention teacher is done in small groups of students.
Three to four learners is ideal for small group instruction, but there are times when I work with up to five and that can get crowded at a square or rectangular shaped table. It can also be disruptive having to be squished together which can be a time waster.
I had a rainbow table when I taught 1st grade and it was so nice to have all of my students around me, all at an equal distance away and with plenty of space to work in.
