I teach at a school that has an incredibly diverse population. It's a town with neighborhoods full of million dollar homes that are just a few minutes away from the Section 8 housing projects that are full of problems that many of us prefer not to think about. Everyone comes together each day under the same roof at our town's high school. While we like to give the appearance of equality of opportunity here, we all know that our students are coming each day with drastically different levels of preparedness. My mission has been to use technology to help enable all of my students to achieve more and embrace the real-world skills that will help them outside the world of academia.
