Our school is a Title I building with roughly 70% of our students living below the poverty level. In our classroom we have 20 students that are eager to learn. Many of my students have parents that work at night to provide for their family, and so they are not able to get outside to move and play. Each morning our students are so excited to be at school, but they have so much energy bottled up inside them that they just need to move. This is often distracting as students struggle to communicate their need to move appropriately. We do take many "brain breaks" throughout the day, however, these seats will allow the students to move while working instead of taking away from instructional time.
