Third graders are the most exciting kiddos on the playground, in a reading group, or on your carpet. There are questions ranging from, "Do you think there are aliens out there?" to "How can we count all of sand on every beach on Earth?" Our classroom is an inviting and enjoyable space to take risks, help others, and grow into engineers, scientists, theorists, readers, and artists.
My students are like most other eight and nine year olds, they are scared of the dark (don't tell them I told you) and they love being in school. School is a warm and safe place for many of them. These scholars bring different ideas and experiences to our classroom. Our classroom, school, and community is better off having them and their families in our lives. I am excited to help them explore the next step in their education!
