I am a teacher in an diverse district. Our school has a multicultural student body comprised of 43.6% African American students, 17.2% Asian students, 12.7% Hispanic students, 23.2% White students and 3.2% Multi-Race, Non-Hispanic students. Additionally, 53.8% of our students are considered low income, 15.3% of our students are identified as having special needs and 10.8% of our students are English Language Learners.
