This year I would like to teach my students more about environmental science. One of our theme units this year is gardening. I would like to teach my students how to grow a garden. Teaching young children gardening will help them develop new skills and learn about environmental science and nature from growing their own food. It will also help teach them how to take care of the environment.
I am requesting planting soils, succulents, planting pots, and small rocks for my students to use as we learn to plant and learn about science.
My students will be working together as a team to plant flowers, fruits, and vegetables for our garden. It is so great when children can go outdoors and experience the world first hand. Having a garden at school will brighten up the environment and it will allow students to feel a sense of ownership in our school. Building a garden is also a great way to teach children the process of planting and growing. With your generous donations together, we can grow a better tomorrow.
