This project is being created because the students have brought in what supplies they could for the year and so much is needed. As a school, we try to provide for the families who cannot always afford the things needed for classes. We love our students like our own children and spend countless hours getting to know them and helping them learn when others gave up on them.
These materials are going to help our students succeed! We do many STEM PBL projects throughout the year. These require the students to work in groups or individually to further their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, or STEM concepts. The materials will be used for their daily work and group activities so everyone has the same opportunity for learning. Some projects need pages printed for the students. This is why printer toner has been requested. We use the Expo markers to work in small groups or during instruction to work out problems on our desks to practice mastery of concepts. The pens and pencils are for grading and prizes for the students. Some just need a little more than their family can provide.
