Kids have a hard time learning math at school just using worksheets or even solving problems over and over again. Majority of my students come from lower-income families and their parents can not support them in Math either because they are working too late or don’t know how to teach them the problems when they get stuck.
I do my very best to make Math Interventions fun for the students that I see, which are the bottom 25% performers of our school in Mathematics, but they have a hard time learning without having hands-on activities at their disposal.
With these hands-on manipulatives such as equation tiles and number line slider boards, we will be able to teach our students Math concepts in a fun & exciting way they can connect with.
