This story will give my students the the opportunity to embrace a powerful and real to life story. Although this story is emotional and potentially tragic, it will bring amazing and thoughtful discussions of insight and meaning into our world within the four corners of our classroom. One of the great achievements and memories as a student and educator lies in the power of a truly remarkable book. Memories of impacting pieces of literature and stories are embedded in my heart and mind, this treasured gift I hope to bring to my students as well. I plan to bring powerful activities through reading, writing, reflection, and collaboration. Embracing the power of life through a meaningful and enriching world experiences is a part of education and personal enrichment.
