Not only am I an educator, I'm the provider for 32 students. My school consists of 75% low income students.
Students in my class are low income students who live in a gang infested community. Many of them live with multiple families(homeless) and parents work multiple jobs to get them the very basic necessities. Asking the parents to purchase headphones means less food, less essentials in the home.
