The materials I am seeking donations for will allow my staff and I to develop a cohesive learning environment where our students, their families, and our greater learning community can interact, educate, and prepare each student for success in a digital world. Whether it is reading using reading AtoZ and Raz Kids, math, science, writing, social studies, or social interacting, these materials will assist with expanding the students world of knowledge. It will give them opportunities to communicate and express that knowledge to their families, current and future school communities, and show the data behind the importance of obtaining and maintaining new technologies for all students, but especially those with special needs. By having this technology, we will seamlessly bridge the classroom and home environments. Parents will have direct links to their child's work, and will be able to monitor their progress in a consistent and timely manner. As many districts are now requiring that teachers be prepared to transition into digital (remote) learning platforms at a moments notice, these materials will allow our class to be at the forefront of that drive. Ultimately, having these materials will relieve the stress of having to attain them by families and our educational staff should there be a requirement to do so.
