I currently teach at a Title 1 school, and most of my students are only able to use a computer while they are at school each day. When it is their "computer day," my students get so excited because they know they can play reading fluency games, and also work on their math skills on various websites. I have to limit their time on the computer because I have so many students, and this breaks my heart! They will sometimes share headphones with a buddy so they can have more time on the computer. I also offer extra computer time as an incentive for good behavior, and for reading progress!
