With the new metal stand and pocket chart, my students will be able to spell out words they know or match letters together. We learn about letters, sounds, and putting those letters into words. These resources are used to extend the students learning in was for them to work on their own.
The math manipulatives will play many roles in allowing students to use concrete items that they can hold in their hands. They use these counters to better understand addition and subtraction.
The rest of the items are for keeping my students engaged while I work with small groups.
