Our school is in a poverty area with 100% of students receiving free lunches. More than 75% of our students are ELL. Our schools has many programs to help students get school supplies and school clothes but has little funding for the arts. Our school participates in an annual art show each year with 5 other schools and every year our school wins more than half of the awards. Our students show a great interest in art and are proud of what they create.
