As a reading specialist, I have about 15 students on my caseload, ranging from kindergarteners to fifth graders. My students are pulled out of their classroom for 30 minutes four-to-five days a week for intense reading intervention. What makes my students special is that they are more than willing to go the extra mile to show growth within their own reading. The perseverance they have is contagious.
