The students are enthusiastic, interested in learning new things, like to learn by doing, enjoy challenges and creative tasks. My students especially enjoy participating in NASA and NOAA real-world science investigations that use robots to advance scientific understanding of Mars and the deepest parts of the Earth's oceans. Our teaching staff is dedicated to staying cutting edge, promoting scientific literacy and helping to prepare the next generation STEM workforce.
