Having access to station carts the students will have the ability to have all materials easily accessible, including classroom provided pencils. The use of book bins will keep all of the student resources organized for them to quickly find materials versus looking and losing academic time.
Giving low-income students access to new more academic time allows for more learning time! We are not provided a classroom budget and even basic supplies become a daily expense. I value academic learning time and believe limited transitional time between activities is key to more teaching. All students will benefit from these resources as they provide direct access, flexible seating and free materials to those in need.
