All students want to be good readers. Using Storyworks Junior in my classroom allows my students to use the text in different ways. Each child will be given their own copy to annotate and highlight. By annotating and highlighting, the students are able to comprehend and use the information to answer questions. In third grade we are reading with a purpose.
Students will appreciate the donated Storyworks Junior magazine!
Our current textbook does not allow for students to write on the pages, since I have to use the books again next year. With a magazine the students can keep their magazine that they annotated and highlighted to reread it after they leave my classroom!
