Make a donation Ms. Truman can use on her next classroom project.
Your donations to this project, will not only help with student engagement but also their academic achievement. I will be departmentalizing this coming school year. This means that I will have up to 36 first graders coming in my classroom and counting on me to make Mathematics for them exciting and memorable. It is extremely vital that I have the necessary tools to do this. I am requesting a variety of hands-on, visual manipulatives including an Elementary Math Manipulative Library, a Lakeshore Math Counters Library for grade 1, and a Number Line Math Activity Chart.
This variety of Math manipulatives will be used on a daily basis and will be available for all students during our Math blocks together. These tools will help them better grasp specific Math standards such as, learning to tell time, counting coins, addition and subtractions strategies, 2D and 3D shapes, measurement, and the list goes on. These tools will make learning hands on and of course enjoyable. Please help me to better help my students reach their full potential in Math this year.
