My goal is to provide high interest activities that will engage my economically disadvantaged students and provide the practice they need to gain mastery in math. These students have little or no opportunity not only to spend social time playing games with their peers, but to also apply gained knowledge in different ways.
Applying learned skills in a variety of engaging activities, such as Math Folder Games, Mastering Math Games, and Build & Learn Volume Kit, will help make even my lowest students successful. My expectation with offering skill based games is that even the hardest to reach students will be more than willing to jump in and get involved! Kids love to play games.
