There is considerable diversity within our classes. We have low to high SES students, military children, athletes, artists, and cultural diversity. This interaction and cooperative learning atmosphere helps create a safe, energetic learning environment and an appreciation for others' backgrounds and interests. We are blessed to have such an accepting, tolerant student body. The school is, however, becoming over-crowded. As such, many resources/funds teachers might have had access to in the past have gone toward creating space, sometimes literally. We want to keep pace with the advancing technology literacy and programs that incorporate real-world, hands-on practices that students desire.

About my class
