Students in my room enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere and they are comfortable in their surroundings. They are typical 12-13 year olds and have a lot of energy. Our student population is very diverse with a very wide socioeconomic gap. Our school struggles to get school supplies. Teachers have to spend much of their own money on even daily necessities like pencils or crayons. Students do their best with what they have and those who have will share with those who do not.
