During the school day you will find my students around the classroom, taking ownership of their own learning. Students maybe working on a group project, writing independently, reading with a partner, or thinking critically about a math problem before them. Despite the task at hand, students are always referring back to anchor charts that we have created together for additional support. This is when our new easel will come in.
With this easel, students will know exactly where in the classroom to refer to when needing a reminder. In addition, an easel allows students to interact with the anchor chart as well. Having this particular easel will allow me to roll the anchor charts around as needed for instruction. Instead having a group of students stop and come up to the anchor chart, I can bring what they need to them.
