I teach 21 kindergarteners who come from all different socioeconomic backgrounds. Some of them live in difficult home situations and teachers are the primary source of their academic progress, social behavioral growth, and nutrition. Our school has almost doubled in size over the last few years and with budget constraints, I am reaching out to donors to help me fill my classroom with books for my students that are meaningful.
