The students in which I serve come from a culturally diverse population, pervaded by both high levels of low socioeconomic status and one of the highest percentages of foster care and/or homeless students in the district. The students in my classroom are collaborative learners with very active bodies; requiring an ample amount of movement and interaction with one another.
