The Gifted and Talented ELAR program for middle school students in my district consists of teaching through the decades. Each quarter from 7 - 8th grade, they focus on a different decade from the 1920s through the 1980s.
We are always in need of great, engaging texts for each of the decades to help supplement their classroom learning.
These materials will be used for activities such as: book clubs, projects, group discussions, blogging and independent reading. Receiving these materials would allow our students to learn about people, places and events significant to the world and its many cultures in ways they couldn't otherwise.
